Joining a new team can be difficult. This team is really a lot of fun. Tonight we did some team building by having dinner (where we cooked it ourselves) and then went bowling. All at the same place. It was a perfect atmosphere to get to know people on our team ona more personal level.
I wasn’t the only one who didn’t know how to cook. A fellow female teammate was asking the same questions I was when it came to making sure our meat was cooked. Thank goodess for a couple of experienced men to help us with cookng dinner! Everyone seemed to have a good time and I really enjoyed getting to know the people who were sitting around me. Then we stepped over to the bowling. I don’t know when I bowled so badly before. It took to the 10th frame to finally find the spot and get a spare. This is actually a really good experience for me in learning to let go and just have fun. I tried to let my competitive nature go and just learn more about the people on the team. I think I succceeded!
I’m so glad I got to come on this trip. It has been fun, educational, and I’ve built strong contacts to help me with my job.
I’m having a lot of fun and grateful for technology that let’s me do the amazing things I want to do. While I would do okay in whater time I landed in, I think this one is the best for me.
I’m looking forward to going home. To have a place that is familiar and fun is nice. I know I’ve mentioed it before, bu it si just the truth for me. Looking forward to seeing my dear husband.
